Epistemic Status
An epistemic status indicates how sure I am about a particular idea or argument. I've seen these in the wild and find the idea appealing – that's why I'm including this as an experimental feature in this garden.
There are several ways to do this: They range from intuitive statements to a limited set of terms. I'm starting with a set of statuses that are based on those from Soren Bjornstad, with the idea to adapt and evolve this system. (I use tags for this, I'm sure there are more elegant options, but that's what I'm starting with).
#epistemic_status/confident : I'm pretty sure this is true.
#epistemic_status/likely: I still think it's probably true, but I'm less sure about it.
#epistemic_status/possible: I'm withholding judgement on the idea.
#epistemic_status/unlikely: I think this is interesting, but probably wrong.
#epistemic_status/personal: This is about me, and it's based of a subjective assessment.
I want a much better technical solution than these tags. I'll deal with that soon.
